Third meeting of 100 Women Who Care about Long Island on Jan. 14th
The 3rd meeting of 100 Women Who Care about Long Island is just around the corner. After only two meetings, the organization members contributed $10,000 to the two selected charities voted on in 2013 - Theresa Academy of Performing Arts and Hospice Care Network.
For the up-coming meeting on January 14th, members are asked to bring a family member and/or friend. The goal is to have 100 members by the 4th meeting in April.
Christin Paglen JD, VP of development for the Hospice Care Network, will present how they will be using their donation during the next meeting. The meeting is scheduled from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. at Jewel Restaurant (on Rte. 110 at the LIE).
