After being closed for over two years, the Market Diner at the corner of 43rd St. and 11th Ave. has reopened under new management after signing a long-term lease with the property owner, The Moinian Group, according to Daniel Gohari, VP and director of leasing at The Moinian Group.
The new owners, James Athanasopoulos, Elias and John Tsinias, operate several other diners in the area, including the Cosmic Diner on 52nd St. and Eighth Ave. They were attracted to the 11,500 s/f site at 587 Eleventh Ave. due to the area's growing residential development.
The Moinian Group represented both the owner and the tenant. Tags:
