Consolo, Aquino and Maglio of Prud. Douglas Elliman lease 1,500 s/f

The leasing team of Faith Hope Consolo, chairman, and Joseph Aquino, executive vice president, along with Arthur Maglio of Prudential Douglas Elliman's Retail Leasing and Sales Division, has secured a 1,500 s/f duplex restaurant space for the N.Y. flagship location of Associazione Pizzaiuoli Napoletani (APN) at 271 Bleecker St. Prudential Douglas Elliman represented both the landlord and tenant in the long-term lease. The store, which is yet to be named, represents APN's first U.S. venture and will serve as both restaurant and school, teaching ancient cooking techniques. The 1,000 s/f store, whose lower level is where classes will take place, is on Bleecker St. between Jones and Cornelia Sts. "This perfectly situated space places APN, purveyor of the most genuine food and cooking technique from the Naples region, in the heart of its element," said Consolo. "The location abounds with Neapolitan history and heritage, while the narrow, café-lined cobblestone streets conjure up images of a European city." "This is the perfect location for such regional European authenticity," said Aquino. "We're complimenting cutting-edge fashion with cutting-edge cuisine."
