The Brodsky Organization has 3,000 s/f of retail space available at 1156 Madison Ave. The ground level space, located between 85th and 86th Sts., also includes a 1,300 s/f cellar.
The retail offering is on the ground level of The Croydon, which is owned, leased and managed by the Brodsky Organization. Previously a hotel, the property was converted by the company into 343 rental apartments in 1976.
Alexander Brodsky, a principal at The Brodsky Organization, is handling the leasing assignment for the space, which will become available October 1.
"The opportunity to lease a property in such a high foot traffic area that has a growing roster of luxury retailers provides a targeted, built-in audience for a future tenant," said Brodsky, "Coupled with the positioning of the building, the tenant is afforded unparalleled opportunities to grow and expand their business in a high-end environment."
The Brodsky Organization's retail spaces are defined by choice locations, thoughtful design and attentive management. Their retail tenants include national brands such as Bed Bath & Beyond, CVS and Chase; high-end boutiques such as Jack Spade, Marc Jacobs and Intermix; gourmet and specialty food stores and restaurants such as Dean & Deluca, Pinkberry and Pearl Oyster Bar; as well as the supermarkets, drugstores, Starbucks coffee houses and banks that serve the daily needs of their buildings' residents.
Conveniently situated near the 4, 5, 6 subway lines, this stretch of Madison Avenue offers a variety of luxury shopping, residential and restaurant experiences. Walking distance from Museum Mile, the area is just steps away from both the storied residences of Fifth and Park Avenue, as well as Central Park.
