TAYLOR named to Greater Rochester’s Top 100 list of fastest-growing companies

Rochester, NY TAYLOR, a leading regional general contractor, announced that it has earned a spot on the 2023 Top 100 list of fastest-growing, privately owned companies in the Rochester and Finger Lakes region. Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce revealed the 37th annual Top 100 rankings at the Top 100 awards celebration held on Thursday, November 2nd, during a formal business event held at the Joseph A. Floreano Rochester Riverside Convention Center.

“We are always honored to place amongst the list of these revered companies in our community and once again receive a Top 100 ranking from the Greater Rochester Chamber, ESL Federal Credit Union, and KPMG,” said Karl Schuler, president of TAYLOR – The Builders. “This recognition continues to demonstrate the exceptional staff of an ever-evolving general contractor, focusing on expanding products and services to better meet the needs of our sophisticated clients — while maintaining long-term relationships and high satisfaction ratings.”

Greater Rochester Chamber president and CEO Bob Duffy said, “Congratulations to TAYLOR – The Builders on being named a 2023 Greater Rochester Chamber Top 100 company. Your presence on this esteemed list showcases your role in shaping Greater Rochester as one of the fastest growing companies in our region. This year’s Greater Rochester Chamber Top 100 highlights the incredible array of companies that collectively define our dynamic ecosystem, employing tens of thousands of people and reporting billions of dollars in revenue in the most recent fiscal year.”

Overall, TAYLOR has appeared on the annual list of Greater Rochester Chamber Top 100 six times: (2010, 2014, 2015, 2018, 2021, and 2023), including a Top 3 Ranking. TAYLOR’s staff, customers, and subcontractors, allowed “The Builders” to place high, despite a sometimes-fickle construction market.

To be eligible for the Greater Rochester Chamber Top 100 program, businesses must be privately held, headquartered in the nine-county Rochester region, and have earned at least $1 million in revenue in each of the three most recent fiscal years. The Top 100 is computed based on revenue, taking into account both dollar and percentage growth. To view the complete Rochester Top 100 list, please visit GreaterRochesterChamber.com.
