Manhattan, NY According to architect and developer Cary Tamarkin, founder of Tamarkin Co., together with Stribling Marketing Associates, 508 West 24th St., a condominium building adjacent to the High Line in West Chelsea, is 100% sold.

“We are extremely proud of 508 West 24th St., both as a work of architecture and as a real estate development,” said Tamarkin, the developer and design architect for the building. “Buyers from all over Manhattan and beyond reacted strongly to this building.”

The 10-story building was designed in the spirit of West Chelsea’s industrial-era warehouses, which characterize the neighborhood. 508 West 24th St. is comprised of 15 two and three-bedroom condominium residences, ranging in size from 2,000 s/f to more than 3,300 s/f with prices from $3 million to over $11 million. Each home is inundated in natural light with 10 to 12-ft. ceilings and over-sized casement ribbon windows – a signature of Tamarkin’s design – that alternate with bands of carefully composed architectural concrete, creating a powerful, authentic and confident aesthetic.

The building was completed earlier this year and each residence is accessed via a key-locked private elevator, an entry gallery foyer designed for the display of artwork and expansive open living and dining spaces. Solid four-inch-wide rift and quarter-sawn white oak floors are found throughout. Each home has a Miele washer and dryer and energy-efficient, multi-zone heating and cooling system.

Stribling Marketing Associates was the exclusive sales and marketing team launched sales in fall 2013.

“The 508 West 24th St. buyer was attracted to the vibrant High Line neighborhood, and we’re already familiar with and sold on Tamarkin’s design,” said Cathy Taub of Stribling Marketing Associates. “In addition to its proximity to the High Line and world famous galleries, 508’s buyers enjoy cutting edge new restaurants, shops, the incredibly exciting Chelsea Market, Chelsea Piers and the fun Meatpacking District.”
