Taking action for a sustainable future in NYC

Queens, NY In 2024, all residential buildings in New York City will be subject to the Climate Mobilization Act (CMA), particularly Local Law 97, which sets limits on greenhouse gas emissions. IREM NYC is committed to helping members and guests navigate this important legislation and find cost-effective solutions to reduce energy consumption in their buildings.

Towards that end, the organization held an informative webinar where they delved into tangible solutions to comply with the CMA and make buildings more efficient. They teamed with Logical Buildings, a powerful software program and app designed to help optimize electricity usage and take advantage of ConEd incentives. With Logical Buildings, you can seamlessly connect the app to your ConEd account, enabling real-time alerts on high demand and usage. The program offers personalized advice on reducing consumption, and when implemented, you’ll even receive cash incentives! Don’t miss out on this valuable opportunity!

A recording of the hour-long presentation is available at iremnyc.org. The session answered many questions and participants left with practical knowledge and actionable steps to make their buildings more sustainable.

Together, let’s make a positive impact on the environment and pave the way for a greener future in the heart of NYC!
