Taic, Vorvolakos and Weisblum join Ariel Property Advisors Investment Sales and Capital Services Divisions

New York, NY According to Ariel Property Advisors, Alexander Taic, Stephen Vorvolakos and Eli Weisblum have joined as directors in its Investment Sales and Capital Services Divisions. 

Taic and Vorvolakos have joined the firm’s teams covering Queens and Brooklyn, respectively. In their roles, they will lead business development and networking initiatives in sub-market neighborhoods. Weisblum will concentrate on debt and equity placement, specifically for multifamily and mixed-use properties. 

“Alex, Stephen and Eli are rising stars and bring a vast amount of knowledge about investment sales and commercial real estate financing,” said Shimon Shkury, president and founder of Ariel Property Advisors. “We look forward to them leveraging our platform, and further enhancing our growing foothold in the market.” 

All three directors will report to Paul McCormick, senior vice president of investment sales and capital services. 

“The hiring of Alex and Stephen should further entrench us as leaders in the Queens and Brooklyn investment sales markets, while Eli enhances our growing profile in the financing arena,” McCormick said. “From a company growth perspective, this is most certainly an exciting time for us.”

Taic is focused on the origination and execution of exclusive sales listings in Jamaica, Queens, as well as its surrounding neighborhoods. Prior to joining the company, he worked as a residential broker at Peter Ashe Realty. While there, he spearheaded the firm’s commercial arm, working with local businesses to acquire leases for retail and office space. In the four years at Peter Ashe Realty, Taic executed over $10 million in sales and generated over $1 million in annual rent income from residential and commercial leases. 

Vorvolakos is concentrating on the origination and execution of properties in the Brooklyn neighborhoods of Sunset Park, Greenwood Heights and Bayridge. Prior to joining the firm, Vorvolakos was a senior associate at Cushman & Wakefield, formerly Massey Knakal Realty Services. During this time, he was involved in the valuation of over $1.2 billion in properties, and successfully participated in the sale of over 20 transactions, with an aggregate value of more than $124 million. 

Weisblum is responsible for the financing of properties, both in and out of the city. Prior to joining the company, Weisblum worked as a commercial mortgage broker at Eastern Union Funding. Previously, he worked at Citibank, where he focused on residential and business loans. In 2016, Weisblum was named one of Citibank’s Top 5 bankers having closed over $100 million in loans during the year. Since the end of 2017, he has arranged financing for over $50 million in loans.
