Taconic Partners and National Real Estate Advisors launch leasing at The Ellery

Manhattan, NY Taconic Partners and National Real Estate Advisors have launched leasing at The Ellery, a new luxury rental residential offering at 312 West 43rd St. Reaching 32 stories high, the development spans two connected towers.

Designed by Handel Architects, The Ellery features 330 studio to two-bedroom luxury residences with sun-lit layouts and far-ranging views of the city and the Hudson River even on the lower floors. The base of the building also offers block-through space for restaurant, grocery, and high-end retail.

The Ellery also has 41,500 s/f of retail located on the ground and cellar levels. On 42nd St., there are 150 ft. of Times Sq. retail frontage for brands seeking a flagship location.

Compass Development Marketing Group (CDMG), has been selected as the exclusive leasing and marketing partner for this groundbreaking project.

Kitchens feature imported quartz countertops and backsplashes, custom-designed Italian cabinetry with storage, and Bosch appliances, including induction cooktops. Spa-like bathrooms include integrated lighting within vanity mirrors and custom niches within the showers in select residences. All residences feature custom closet buildouts by Modular Closets, and are outfitted with blackout shades, Bosch washers and dryers, and Salto keyless entry technology.

Situated between both residential towers, The garden is surrounded by a cityscape and offers a park-like outdoor oasis above Midtown. The space is outfitted with lounge seating throughout, grills for resident use, and reservable dining spaces.

“New Yorkers believe they live at the center of universe  —  and at The Ellery they have the chance to do just that, but with a sense of wellness and respite inside the building,” said Colleen Wenke, president and chief operating officer, Taconic Partners. “Residents who want to experience everything the city has to offer are in the metro area’s most convenient location but can come home to a level of luxury that simply doesn’t exist elsewhere in the rental market here.”

“The Ellery embodies National’s dedication to building cutting-edge assets that seek to generate returns for our investors while creating meaningful jobs in our communities,” said Jeffrey Kanne, president and chief executive officer, National Real Estate Advisors. “We would like to thank our partners and the skilled workforce who have come together to create a project that will offer a unique luxury living option to New Yorkers.”

“From the very start, the development team has been committed to providing a best-in-class offering typically reserved for rental buildings of a much larger scale,” said Sarah Patton, co-head of new development, Compass. “Whether it’s the respite of having a private garden in the center of the city or being poolside surrounded by the iconic Manhattan skyline, residents at The Ellery will experience a truly exceptional lifestyle.”

The sense of wellness is also embodied in the amenity spaces. Residents have access to a full-service fitness center, operated and programmed by LIVunLtd, and featuring state-of-the-art Precor cardio and strength training equipment, functional training stations, and Peloton bikes. LIVunLtd is a luxury amenity management company, and longtime trusted partner to Taconic in providing residents with a next-level quality of living, rich in inspired programming and events to engage every resident. The Ellery Lifestyle Manager from LIVunLtd provides residents with a perfect mix of group fitness and wellness classes, curated resident activities, and a steady rhythm of social events, as well as an array of hotel-style services that begin with personal assistance to coordinate move-in.

The fitness center adjoins the residents-only spa, which includes a steam room, sauna with Canadian hemlock wood, relaxation rooms, Experience Shower with Rainmoon waterfall heads, and towel service. Coworking spaces offer reservable conference rooms, equipped with full AV capabilities, and ROOM prefabricated phone booths and focus rooms. Residents can also enjoy various social spaces, including the games room, featuring a custom pool table, and the lounge, designed with a kitchen and various seating options, perfect for hosting special gatherings.

The rooftop features a spectacular 40-ft. outdoor pool, surrounded by custom cabanas, sleek chaise lounges, and iconic Manhattan views. Above it all, residents can also find a sun room with a double-sided fireplace inviting all to experience the outdoor terrace, and a fine-restaurant-quality private dining room with enviable views above the city-fully equipped with a wine fridge and catering capabilities.

A 24-hour attended lobby welcomes residents home with a striking olive tree, commissioned especially for the space, and a custom art installation from a globally renowned artist--to be announced soon. Modern conveniences include smart-technology package rooms for deliveries and resident pick-up.
