Syage and Dorman of Hunt Corp. Services arrange $1.4 million sale of two retail/industrial buildings

Elmont, NY Hunt Corporate Services, Inc. has completed the sale of two retail/industrial buildings totaling 14,485 s/f located at 571 and 575 Hempstead Tpke. The portfolio sold for $1.4 million to New York Wood Floor. Chuck Syage and Andy Dorman of Hunt represented the seller, and were the sole brokers. “There was a lot of interest in these buildings. They both have great retail exposure in a very dense submarket near the Queens/Nassau County line and sold at rates in excess of their appraised value,” said Dorman. “Being situated on the highly trafficked Hempstead Tpke. and in close proximity to Home Depot, made this an ideal location for the buyer’s wood flooring business,” said Syage. The 575 Hempstead Tpke. building consists of 7,092 s/f and will be utilized for a wood flooring business. The 571 Hempstead Tpke. building consists of 7,393 s/f and came with a long-term kitchen cabinetry and counter top tenant. Hunt Corporate Services, Inc. specializes in exclusively representing clients for the acquisition or disposition of commercial real estate.
