Studley helps grow relationship Science LLC with creative sublease solution
Relationship Science LLC (RelSci), a digital information services provider, has made a new connection on Third Avenue.
The firm has signed a 31,323 s/f sublease comprising the entire 18th floor at 909 Third Avenue, in a transaction brokered by global commercial real estate services firm Studley. RelSci will expand and relocate from approximately 20,000 s/f at 622 Third Avenue to 31,323 s/f at the 33-story, 1.3 million s/f building in the fourth quarter of 2013. Studley's Executive Managing Director Marc Shapses, along with Executive Managing Director Joe Messina and Assistant Director Oliver Petrovic, represented the tenant on the two-year transaction. Neil Goldmacher along with Josh Friedman and Josh Gosin of Newark Grubb Knight Frank represented the sub-landlord. Asking rent was $35.00per s/f.
"RelSci is expanding and required more space to meet its needs," Shapses said. "Due to the short-term lease and the excellent condition of the existing infrastructure we were able to secure the space at a great value, exceeding the expectations of our clients."
Headquartered in New York City, RelSci consists of over 500 professionals. The company is known for the Relationship Science (RelSci) platform, which contains profiles of more than two-million important decision-makers, and the one million organizations they work with across the public, private, finance, and nonprofit sectors.
