SMPS-NY Chapter celebrates annual Kick-Off Gathering for AEC industry

Manhattan, NY On January 23rd, the Society for Marketing Professional Services, New York Chapter (SMPS-NY) welcomed members and guests to its annual Kick-Off Gathering at Legends Bar & Restaurant, offering a fresh start to the upcoming year in marketing and business development across the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry.

This event provided the opportunity for attendees to reconnect with colleagues, welcome new members, and set a positive tone for the year ahead. During the event, SMPS-NY president Natasha Camarillo said, “One hour can change an entire year.” This message encouraged everyone, members and newcomers alike, to invest even a small amount of time to help keep the chapter vibrant, relevant, and growing.

Camarillo also spoke to the heart of SMPS-NY’s mission, describing the chapter as “people rooting for your success even when they barely know you.” These words resonated with attendees, reinforcing SMPS-NY’s reputation as a welcoming, supportive network that empowers professionals at every stage of their career.

Highlights from the evening included inspiring conversations, meaningful introductions, and a shared sense of excitement for the chapter’s plans. With over 240 members and dozens of annual events. including networking mixers, educational workshops, and premier panels with industry leaders. SMPS-NY continues to drive professional development and foster lasting relationships throughout the Greater New York City Metropolitan area.
