Smith provides presentation at LICN monthly meeting

There was a curious excitement at the Bayside Diner as the attendees continued to file in for the LICN monthly meeting. This was the first time a morning meeting was held in Bayside. Attendees came from Nassau and Suffok as well as Brooklyn and Queens. This was an opportunity to meet brokers that were new to this group as well as attending the meeting to learn from the very well respected and acknowledged expert, Ed Smith. In addition, Bob Stark, president presented Alan Hendrickson with a commendation for having served as president for 3 consecutive years. Smith provided an extremely informative presentation on Introduction to Investments. It included how to do a financial analysis, cap rates, calculating return on investment. Smith provided one of his books for purchase to further support the realtor who may be at the beginning of working with commercial properties or would like to know more detail from a veteran who instructs many classes in commercial real estate. At the end of the presentation, there was a Q & A.
