Morristown, NJ SJP Properties made known that Sanofi at M Station West has received WELL v2 Platinum Certification from the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI), the highest level awarded under the WELL Building Standard. The seven-story, 253,000 s/f building houses over 2,000 employees of Sanofi, the Fortune 500 pharmaceutical and healthcare company. The certification furthers SJP’s effort to build developments that ensure the healthiest possible environment for both employees and the surrounding communities.

“This achievement reflects the thoughtful integration of environmental stewardship and smart urban planning throughout M Station West,” said Steven Pozycki, founder and CEO of SJP Properties.“From the inclusion of sun filled windows to lush landscaping throughout, every detail was designed with employee health and wellness at the forefront. As a premier corporate destination connected to transit and designed to the highest standards of sustainability, M Station West is helping attract leading employers, support local businesses, and strengthen Morristown as one of New Jersey’s most dynamic economic centers.”

WELL v2 Platinum Certification demonstrates a company’s commitment to enhancing human health and well-being across 10 core concepts at IWBI: Air, Water, Nourishment, Light, Movement, Thermal Comfort, Sound, Materials, Mind, and Community.

At M Station West, these principles come to life through several design features. This includes highly efficient floor plates that allow for maximum versatility in establishing workflow and air filtration systems ensuring the healthiest possible environment for employees. The building also has expansive natural light, bringing in the outdoor experience and enhancing productivity and employee morale. Outside the confines of the workspace, the development features a gracious tree-lined retail promenade, a stunning courtyard, and two outdoor plazas, providing a welcoming and eco-minded environment. Convenient access to NJ TRANSIT encourages employees to take public transportation to work and on-site electric vehicle charging stations further supports community sustainability.

M Station West built on the completion of the first phase of the development, M Station East, a six-story and 120,000 s/f building that is home to 1,500 Deloitte employees. The deliverance of this premier built-to-suit project has helped usher in a new model for sustainability in the workplace, while elevating Morristown’s economy through increased retail interest, higher property values, and infrastructure improvements.
