Shapiro and Siegelman of Winick rep landlord in 1,900 s/f lease at 222 East 34th Street

Drybar, the Irvine, Calif.-based "blow dry bar" concept, has leased its third N.Y.C. location at 222 East 34th St., between Second and Third Aves. in the Murray Hill neighborhood. The chain currently has 15 locations in five states, including one location in New York's Flatiron District and another inside the Le Parker Meridien Hotel. Drybar will occupy 1,900 s/f of ground floor space. "Murray Hill is an area that's filled with young professionals looking for an economical way to get the kind of services Drybar provides," said Hal Shapiro, managing director at Winick Realty Group LLC. Shapiro represented landlord Rosebud Associates, along with associate director Josh Siegelman. Drybar was represented by Richard Skulnik of Ripco Real Estate. Shapiro and Siegelman are currently marketing the remaining 5,000 square feet of ground floor space at 222 East 34th Street, which sits at the base of The Anthem Building, a 25-story luxury residential tower with 480 apartments. Located on the highly-trafficked 34th Street corridor, the available retail offers high ceilings and boasts 56 feet of 34th Street frontage.
