SEDC names Angus vice president of community economic development
The Saratoga Economic Development Corp. has named James Angus vice president of community economic development.
Angus, who started AM Funding Group, a Clifton Park mortgage brokerage firm, has been a volunteer member of the Clifton Park Industrial Development Agency since 1995, serving as chairman for more than eight years.
"We need to build a tax base," Angus said. "We've got the people, we've got the resources, we've got the housing, but we need to continue to build the tax base to keep the cost to all these residents down, to keep it a good place."
