Ginsburg Development opens second phase of leasing at Admirals Cove development
Haverstraw, NY Building on the resounding success of the first phase of leasing at the Admirals Cove luxury development, Ginsburg Development Companies (GDC) has opened the second phase of apartments at the waterfront community. Set on a peninsula with water on three sides and a private marina, the second phase of Admirals Cove features two four-story buildings with a total of 58 one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments.
MHCM hires Wisniewski as project manager

MAG Partners, Safanad and Penn South break ground on 200,000 s/f mixed-use project
Manhattan, NY MAG Partners broke ground on their 188-unit, mixed-use project at 335 Eighth Ave. in partnership with Penn South (also known as Mutual Redevelopment Houses, Inc.). Dignitaries including council member Erik Bottcher, helped to mark the occasion. Thirty percent of the new building’s units will be reserved for low- and middle-income residents under the Affordable NY Program.
TFC and Culture Lab unveil sculpture garden at Hunter's Point South
Queens, NY TF Cornerstone (TFC) and Culture Lab LIC hosted a grand reveal at the Hunter’s Point South waterfront of the new sculpture garden, situated between 5203 and 5241 Center Blvd. The three sculptures were created by New York artists Kenny Greenberg, Paul Maus and Erwin List Sanchez, who were selected through a 2022 open call for public outdoor sculptures.
Joshua Rubin of PMA passes away on Oct. 12th
Manhattan, NY Joshua Rubin, an integral member of the New York healthcare and life sciences real estate development community and the vice president and New York City general manager of Project Management Advisors (PMA), passed away on Thursday, October 12th after a valiant battle with cancer.
REBNY releases Multi-Family Foundation Plan Application Report for housing production target
Manhattan, NY The Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) released its latest Multi-Family Foundation Plan Application Report, providing an analysis of residential foundation filings submitted to the NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) through August 2023. Foundation filings are a good indicator of new units entering development as foundation work is among the first types of work for a construction project and an application for a foundation permit therefore indicates a project is likely to begin construction.

IREM NYC hosts fifth annual Clay Shoot charity event
New Paltz, NY IREM NYC’s Fifth Annual Clay Shoot was held on Friday, October 6th at Mid-Hudson Sporting Clays. The charity event benefitted two organizations: SHAREing & CAREing, and GiGi’s Playhouse NYC. Over one hundred members and guests enjoyed breakfast, a full round of clay shooting with some competitive games, and a barbecue luncheon, followed by raffled and prizes.
