I successfully brought LaMora, the first senior modular passive house affordable housing development in NY, online. The building was recently featured in Monica Makes It Happen on WPIX 11 and is receiving a BuildGreenCT Merit Award. I also oversee the Mulford Corp.

How has that crossover shaped the way you approach managing and advising high‑end residential developments today? A. Yes, absolutely. I believe the word “hospitality” translates across many different genres of business, from hotels to restaurants, commercial and residential buildings.
What recent accomplishment or initiative are you most proud of, and what impact did it have on your firm, clients, or community? For the last several years, I have taken great effort to differentiate between the various segments of commercial real estate. For example, retail properties have broadly declined whereas industrial & manufacturing properties have been white hot.

Leadership is about solving problems, so it is important to create a supportive environment where people feel comfortable bringing them to you. What recent accomplishment or initiative are you most proud of, and what impact did it have on your firm, clients, or community? One initiative I am proud of was rolling out a standardized approach to cost forecasting and variance tracking across multiple projects. I worked closely with project management, finance, and operations to align everyone on a consistent method, tighten assumptions and benchmarks, and set up regular check-ins to stay ahead of issues.
