What was the most challenging part of working during the pandemic?
The most challenging part of working during the pandemic was coordinating with others. However, I will always be grateful for the effort of the Cronin & Cronin staff, the municipalities and local officials during those first few months. Property tax deadlines were upon us, and while there were far more important concerns at that time, the ability to file a tax grievance and the manner by which to do so needed to be addressed. It was incredibly uplifting to see the great lengths everyone went to in order to communicate and work together. In a time of chaos, both sides of the assessment community in Nassau and Suffolk counties prioritized a fair and equitable policy in order to allow taxpayers to have their rights protected.
