SCG Retail hosts annual kick-off summer cruise

Manhattan, NY Captain Chase Welles skippered the SCG Retail, team and clients around New York Harbor last night on the fireboat John Harvey. An annual kick-off summer event, Welles gave tours of the engine room on the two-hour harbor tour. Welles, a two- time Deal of the Year Winner, is president of the John Harvey and a trustee. A life-long boater, Welles has worked for a number of years to keep the Harvey afloat. 

The two-hour boat cruise around Manhattan included a beautiful sunset past the Statue of Liberty. Some of the industry executives on-board included representatives from Starbucks, General Growth, Hudson Realty, Metropolitan Realty, Vornado, Corcoran, Crown Retail, Linear Realty Capital, Westfield, Suzuki Capital and KD Sagamore.

Launched in 1931, the boat served the city of New York until 1994. At one time she was the largest and fastest fire fighting machine of her time. 

SCG Retail, a division of The Shopping Center Group continues to fight for landlords, developers and tenants throughout the NY metro area.
