Sanity and stability through BMAR membership and MRC

By: Nunzio Del Greco, RCE The media bombardment of negativity is continuing to wear most people down. Everyone is tired of the lack of leadership and the lackluster economy. My humble advice is to identify your priorities and take care of yourself. It's easy to get over whelmed by the seemingly endless bad news. It's good to know what's going on in the market, industry and in politics. However, disconnect and reduce the noise often. Spend more time with family and friends. Take that walk on the beach or sit under a tree. Eat healthy, drink and exercise in moderation. Taking care of yourself will help you focus, be balanced and provide you with the energy to manage the stresses in our society and professionally. On a business and professional level, networking and being a member of the BMAR or the newly organized Manhattan Realtor Chapter is a great investment of your time and energy. We have put together an excellent program with nationally renowned speakers for October 6 at the Association of the Bar of NYC, 42 West 44th St. The seminar begins at 8 a.m. All brokers and sales associates licensed in N.Y.C. are invited to attend and learn new business and technological tools to enhance your profitability in this challenging economy. Nationally renowned speakers include: Curt Beardsley, V.P. Business Development for the National Association of Realtors (NAR) highlighting what's new and exciting with Realtor.com; Ron France, V.P. Industry Relations for Realtors Property Resource (RPR) will showcase NAR's exclusive FREE online real estate library for Realtors with data on every property in the United States; Ari Milstein, Director of Planning for Automotion Parking Systems will discuss innovative parking systems with computerized guidance software to maximize vehicle storage; and Marilyn Harra Kaye, president of MLBKaye International Realty will explain how Realtor.com with over one million associates & IDX/VOW gives our Manhattan clients the edge they need in this challenging market. Attendees are encouraged to bring plenty of business cards and network. Special thanks are extended to the sponsors & media partners for this event. They are: Realtor.com; RPR; ERG Property Advisors; New York Real Estate Journal; CHIP Community Housing Improvement Program; Mann Publications, Manhattan Realtor Chapter (MRC); and BMAR.
