Brooklyn, NY RXR, a leading real estate owner, operator, and developer in the New York Tri-State area, announced the grand opening of The Willoughby, a new ground-up, 34-story mixed-use tower located at the intersection of Fort Greene and Downtown Brooklyn at 196 Willoughby St.

“The Willoughby sets a new standard of living in Brooklyn, offering an exceptional combination of views and amenities, together with expansive public transportation options and easy access to Fort Greene Park,” said Joanne Minieri, COO for Construction & Development at RXR.

“Demand for the new residential product remains strong,” said Jarrod Whitaker, senior vice president of Residential Operations, RXR. “The Willoughby’s popularity is no surprise given its location, design, amenities, and first-class services.”

Residents also have direct access to an underground parking garage. Exclusive amenities for residents include a library, fitness center, yoga studio, conference room, entertaining room and lounge.

Outdoor amenities include a large outdoor dining area, built-in grilling stations, community space and built-in fireplaces with lounge seating. The building also features new work from home spaces, a floating library, a private dog run/spa, outdoor courtyard, surrounding streetscape improvements and is located within walking distance of Fort Greene Park and the 2/3/4/5/D/N/R/B/Q/C transit lines.
