Rose Association completes two leases: 1,250 s/f

Rose Associates, Inc. has completed lease transactions with Australian Homemade and Maoz Vegetarian at University Walk, located on Eighth St. between Broadway and University Place. Ice cream maker and chocolatier Australian Homemade signed a 10-year lease for 530 s/f of ground floor space at 37 E. Eighth St. Restaurateur Maoz Vegetarian signed a 10-year lease for 750 s/f of ground floor space at 59 E. Eighth St. Bruce Spiegel, senior managing director of commercial leasing, and William Bergman, commercial leasing coordinator, with Rose Associates, Inc., represented building owner Uniway Partners L.P. in both transactions. Carole Greene with Newmark Knight Frank represented Australian Homemade. Loren Baron with CB Richard Ellis Inc. represented Maoz Vegetarian. Rose Associates, Inc. is the exclusive leasing agent for the entire retail complex.

2024 Year in Review: William O’Brien, M.C. O’Brien, Inc.

What noteworthy transactions or deals from this year best exemplified key market trends or shifts? I would like to say there was an outstanding transaction for me this past year but 2024 was more a culmination of long-term relationships, most of which continued to transact. Deals were smaller in many cases but we saw robust leasing both on the agency side as well as on the tenant side.
