Rose Associates exclusive marketing and leasing agent for 56 buildings

Rose Associates has once again been appointed exclusive marketing and leasing agent for both Stuyvesant Town and Peter Cooper Village, according to Robert Scaglion, senior managing director of residential marketing at Rose Associates, Inc. The firm had previously been the marketing and leasing agent for the property prior to the purchase of the complex by Tishman Speyer in 2006. The addition of Stuyvesant Town and Peter Cooper Village, two massive rental communities with 56 buildings in midtown Manhattan, to the Rose Associates roster brings to 16,000 the number of residential rental apartments the firm exclusively markets and leases in NYC. "We have many years of experience marketing and leasing both Peter Cooper Village and Stuyvesant Town, and we are delighted to once again have the opportunity to represent the most iconic and impressive urban complexes in the city, if not the entire country," said Scaglion. The two combined complexes make up a collection of red-brick apartment buildings stretching from First Ave. to Avenue C, between 14th and 23rd Sts. Located between 14th and 20th Sts., "Stuy Town," as it is nicknamed, has 8,757 apartments in 35 residential buildings. Its sister development, Peter Cooper Village, located between 20th and 23rd Streets, includes 21 residential buildings. Together, the properties make up 11,250 apartments and house over 30,000 residents. Additionally, the firm has been named property manager for both developments and will oversee the commercial and retail leasing at the property.
