City Year, Inc. has renewed their lease at 20 West 22nd St. for an additional five years. City Year, Inc. has once again decided to call 20 West 22nd St. its home. But do to the ever-growing success of the company; it seems more space was needed. Remaining on the third floor, that is the entire third floor, City Year has added an expansion by acquiring Ste. 410 on the fourth floor. They have now settled into a 11,240 s/f space, which also offers a number of bonuses. Situated in a renovated seventeen story building, City Year has the luxury of newly installed elevators, with a marble accented lobby. Also 20 West 22nd St. provides all tenants, like City Year, Inc. with the safety of having a twenty four hours, seven days a week doorman. The doorman also overseas the safety and security of the building as the continuous efforts to reconstruct the new corridors are currently being installed. Located in the Flatiron District, 20 West 22nd stands out from the rest. Established in 2003, just after the wake of 9/11, City Year wanted to create an innovative solution in dealing with the most crucial issues that New York City children face each day. City Year unites young people within all backgrounds to provide them with a year of full time service, which gives them the skills and various opportunities where they may change the world. Many of these young people take on the roles of a tutor, mentor or simply by being a role model to a fellow youth.
