Rockefeller Group promotes Gadlin to chief administrative officer

Manhattan, NY Rockefeller Group has made known that Marisa Gadlin has been promoted to chief administrative officer, executive vice president and head of core holdings. Gadlin is based in New York, where she was previously senior vice resident and head of core holdings.

In her expanded role, Gadlin oversees three of the company’s corporate departments, including human resources, corporate communications and legal, all of which provide services to the company and its development partners on a national basis. In addition, she continues to lead the company’s core holdings business, which is Rockefeller Group’s Manhattan office portfolio.

Gadlin joined Rockefeller Group in 2021. She has been responsible for the long-term value enhancement activities at 1221 Avenue of the Americas, 1271 Avenue of the Americas, and 745 Seventh Ave., which are nearly 100% occupied. In 2025, she oversaw 500,000 s/f of new office leasing activity within the portfolio. In addition to overseeing all leasing transactions, she is responsible for comprehensive asset management oversight, which includes facility and project management.

“Marisa has been an outstanding addition to Rockefeller Group, and her expanded role is a reflection of her many contributions to the success of the company in recent years,” said Daniel Moore, Rockefeller Group’s president and CEO. “I look forward to working with her as our CAO.”

In addition to its core portfolio, which totals six million s/f of class-A office space in Midtown Manhattan, the company operates from 12 offices nationally, with a $6 billion development pipeline totaling 23 million s/f across 16 states and Washington, D.C.

Gadlin has more than two decades of real estate experience spanning investment, asset management and operations. Prior to joining Rockefeller Group, she was vice president, asset management, for Paramount Group, responsible for the asset management of nine buildings in New York City and San Francisco totaling more than nine million s/f. She joined Paramount Group in their acquisitions department in 2006 and held various positions of increasing authority.

Prior to Paramount Group, Gadlin worked for Tishman Speyer, a global investment management firm specializing in commercial real estate, from 2004 to 2006.  Previously, she was an analyst at Rothschild in the mergers and acquisitions group.

Gadlin holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
