What trend or change in commercial real estate do you believe will have the biggest impact over the next five years?

The most significant shift will be the continued evolution of commercial real estate from places people visit to destinations they seek out. Consumers increasingly value experience, convenience, and authentic connection, requiring owners and retailers to create environments that foster engagement rather than simply facilitate transactions. The retailers that thrive will be those that deeply understand their customers, choose locations strategically, and create engaging in-store experiences that build lasting loyalty and cannot be replicated online.

What advice would you give to the next generation of women entering commercial real estate?

Take every opportunity to learn. Listen, observe, and absorb as much as you can to build a strong foundation in the industry. Stay curious, ask thoughtful questions, and seek opportunities to understand every facet of the business. Knowledge is one of your greatest assets in commercial real estate. Just as importantly, invest in relationships. Find mentors and sponsors who will challenge, advocate for, and inspire you while helping you expand your network. The relationships you cultivate will shape your career just as much as the deals you close.

What was the most rewarding project or deal you’ve worked on in the past 12 months, and why?

One of the most rewarding deals of the past year was the opening of Ambassadors Clubhouse in NoMad. Bringing an international tenant to NYC was a major accomplishment in itself. A year prior to opening, we spent significant time educating the market, conducting tours, and navigating complex deal negotiations. What has been most fulfilling is seeing this tenant not only open its doors, but truly thrive in its location. It has been exciting to watch the concept become one of the most sought-after reservations in the city.

What leadership lesson has made the greatest impact on your career?

The leadership lesson that has had the greatest impact on my career is that trust is built through consistency. Strong leaders communicate clearly, follow through on commitments, and create an environment where people feel empowered to contribute. I’ve learned that credibility comes from listening first, taking ownership when things don’t go as planned, leading with honesty, and delivering results over time. These principles have strengthened my relationships with colleagues, clients, and partners and have shaped the way I approach leadership every day.
