RMF appoints Green as chief marketing and business development officer

According to Ruskin Moscou Faltischek, P.C., Karen Green has been appointed as the firm's chief marketing and business development officer. Prior to the RMF appointment, Green, a seasoned government relations professional, joined the firm's government relations arm, Empire Government Strategies, in March as their field director and will concurrently serve in that role. A resident of Woodmere, Green most recently served as publisher and editor-in-chief of the Jewish Star newspaper, a weekly publication that serves the communities of Long Island, Brooklyn and Queens. She has served in many capacities in her public sector career including, Director of Local Intergovernmental Relations for Nassau County, Director of District Operations for New York State Senator Craig Johnson, Special Assistant for NYC Department of Education and Senior Budget Analyst for the New York City Office of Management and Budget. In the private sector she was an economic analyst for Met Life and an international commodities assistant for Shearson. Mark Mulholland, managing partner, welcomed Green to her new appointment. Karen brings with her valuable experience and an impressive record from both the public and private sector. Green is also active in the Five Towns Community and has advocated for numerous communal causes. She is a former board member of Kulanu, a non-profit organization that promotes inclusion by providing much needed services and community support to children with special needs and their families. Additionally, she serves as a committee member for Friends of Israel Defense Force-Five Towns/South Shore chapter and is a member of the Nassau County CERT, certified emergency response team. Karen and her family reside in Woodmere.
