What was the most rewarding project or deal you’ve worked on in the past 12 months, and why?

Working on office-to-residential conversions has been incredibly rewarding. Our team has found unexpected, creative solutions to help clients meet their goals within the constraints of existing buildings. At one project in lower Manhattan, I was able to recapture usable space on a mezzanine level and cellar storage floors with very low ceiling heights – by enclosing plumbing and ductwork around the floor perimeter and vertically stacking services. I love practical, innovative solutions that maximize functionality and value while transforming underutilized buildings into new homes.

What advice would you give to the next generation of women entering commercial real estate?

My advice to the next generation of women entering commercial real estate is to stay curious, trust your expertise, and never hesitate to ask questions. This industry offers endless opportunities to learn, collaborate, and solve complex challenges. Build strong relationships, seek out mentors, and be open to new experiences that expand your perspective. Most importantly, have confidence in your ideas and your voice. Your unique perspective is valuable, and the industry is stronger when diverse viewpoints help shape the built environment.
