What was the best thing that happened to you or your firm in 2014? We achieved a 100% occupancy rate in our industrial and retail portfolios. Our office portfolio is currently at 99.4% occupancy - I'm working on that last 0.6%! We attribute much of our success to the wonderful relationships we have with the brokerage community. What was your most notable project, deal, transaction or personal achievement in 2014? We were aggressive in completing five leases at 371 Merrick Road, Rockville Centre. On a personal note, I participated in several piano recitals, performing Debussy's "Clair de Lune" and Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata" and "Pathetique - 2nd Movement." What are you looking forward to accomplishing in 2015? We'll be rolling out a new website which will better highlight our firm's endeavors. We will continue to increase our third-party management assignments. What are some of your real estate predictions for 2015? Market stabilization will morph into increased rates of return.
