New York, NY Construction manager Richter + Ratner (R+R) has held its First Annual Golf Outing and Charity Fundraiser at the Anglebrook Golf Club in Lincolndale.  The event, which raised funds for Boys Town New York and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, attracted leading regional real estate, architecture, engineering, and construction professionals.

“We are proud to support both Boys Town New York’s mission of assisting children and families in crisis, and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s programs supporting individuals impacted by multiple sclerosis,” said R+R president and CEO Marc Heiman.  “Our annual golf outing events will focus on raising funds for local causes and creating a networking forum for senior executives of commercial real estate and AEC organizations.”

“The funds raised thanks to the generous support of Richter+Ratner and the Tri-state building industry will allow us to expand our life-changing initiatives across the Greater New York area, especially care for youth who are in trouble with the law, have been abandoned, abused, or neglected, and suffer from emotional and behavioral problems,” said Boys Town New York executive director Jon Jelley.

“The fundraising support of the real estate and construction industry plays an important role in helping move the mission of the New York – Southern New York Chapter of the National MS Society forward. Richter+Ratner’s contribution makes a difference in the lives of people affected by multiple sclerosis and provides funds for MS research and services,” said chapter president Robin Einbinder.
