Ravi Engineering & Land Surveying welcomes Ford

Rochester, NY Ravi Engineering & Land Surveying (RE&LS) welcomed Eric Ford to the firm, leading special inspection services for clients in the A/E/C industry.

Special inspections are a requirement of municipal building codes for a majority of building-related projects. Integral building components such as structural steel, welding, bolting, masonry and fireproofing are subject to inspection to ensure construction is completed to design specifications. Special Inspections must be certified and submitted before occupancy permits are issued by the governing authorities.

“Offering special inspections is new to the firm. Eric brings a master level of special inspections with a team of top structural engineers and inspectors behind him,” said Dan Roop, director of construction Inspection services for RE&LS.

Ford brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to RE&LS, having performed inspections on a number of regional projects, including new construction for Wegmans, Golisano Children’s Hospital, Corning Glass, and numerous concrete and multi-story projects for the city of Rochester.
