Albany, NY Consigli Construction Co., Inc. has promoted Jennifer Rand to director of operations for New York’s Capital Region. In her new role, Rand will oversee business development, strategic growth and lead the day-to-day operations for the firm’s regional office.
Rand is a Capital Region native with nearly two decades of industry experience and a track record of leading projects ranging from fast-track renovations to large, challenging projects throughout the area. Rand first joined Consigli in 2006 and returned to the capital city in 2013 to support the building of Consigli’s regional office. Her roles throughout her career with Consigli have contributed to driving growth for both the Albany and Pleasant Valley offices and the training and development of the project management department.
“Throughout Jenn’s tenure with Consigli, she has brought strong ties to the community and passion for team development that has been a game changer for Consigli’s people and business upstate,” said Jeffrey Navin, vice president of Consigli.
Rand has led projects in higher education, healthcare, K-12, residential and hospitality markets, and has served clients such as Albany Medical Center, the Emma Willard School, Liberty Affordable Housing, Skidmore College, Saratoga Casino Hotel and Union College. Additionally, she led the construction of the University at Albany, SUNY Emerging Technology and Entrepreneurship Complex (ETEC).
Rand was named a 40 Under 40 Honoree by the Albany Business Review in recognition of her distinction as an individual representing leading industries shaping the Capital Region’s economy and workforce. In addition to her operational and project excellence, Rand actively works to empower young women in the construction industry and leads Consigli’s community outreach and involvement efforts. She is also involved in the ACE Mentor Program, an award-winning organization designed to attract students to architecture, construction and engineering careers to create a more equitable and diverse industry.
