Raise Commercial Real Estate inks 4,000 s/f lease for firm’s NYC headquarters

Manhattan, NY aise signed a three-year, 4,000 s/f lease at 184 Fifth Ave.to serve as the firm’s NYC headquarters. Relocating from the firm’s coworking location in Chelsea, the new office space will allow Raise to continue its growth trajectory in the region.

Raise was represented in the transaction by their NYC team consisting of Jamie Katcher, Doug Regal, Sebastian Infante, Emilie Goldman and Henry Korzec. The landlord was represented by Ben Waller at ABS Partners Real Estate.

“Following the launch of Raise in the New York market office just over a year ago, we’re thrilled to be making the move into our new home across from the Flatiron Building and Madison Square Park, which will serve as a catalyst for our continued growth and presence in the region,” said Jamie Katcher, managing director, New York, Raise Commercial Real Estate. “The Midtown South submarket has continued to appeal to a wide array of tenants seeking a true live, work, play environment, and we’re excited to lay down our roots here.”

Situated within Raise’s newly coined ThreeParks submarket of Midtown South, Raise’s new HQ will support the day-to-day operations of Raise’s New York City-based team as well as allow for the firm to continue its growth with future key hires within the brokerage, project management, workplace solutions and research and analytics facets of its business.

The ThreeParks neighborhood of Midtown South (stretching from Third Ave.to Sixth Ave. and spanning the blocks from 11th St. to 26th St.encompassing Madison Square Park, Union Square Park and Gramercy Park) is one of Manhattan’s most popular neighborhoods that has flown under the radar for quite some time, historically categorized within the Flatiron and Union Sq. submarkets. Totaling 24.6 million s/f, ThreeParks saw a total of 3.1 million s/f of commercial space leased in 2022, the highest numbers in the region since 2014. The neighborhood’s continued growth in demand prompted Raise to redefine Midtown South’s geographical lines due to the uptick in client interest looking to take space within the area for their operations.
