Racanelli of Racanelli Construction to be honored by Southside Hospital

Bay Shore, NY According to Racanelli Construction Co., Inc., its principal and partner Richard Racanelli has been named the honoree for the 20th Annual Southside Hospital Golf Classic. Southside Hospital is a member of the Northwell Health system. The event will be held on Wednesday, June 21st at Southward Ho Country Club, 601 West Montauk Hwy. 

An active member of the community, Racanelli serves as a member of the board of Northwell Health’s Southside Hospital in addition to supporting several other civic and philanthropic organizations. He is a graduate of The Energeia Partnership of Molly College-Class of 2007, a member of the U.S. Green Building Council-Long Island, and a longstanding supporter of The American Heart Association, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and The St. John the Baptist Alumni Association.

Racanelli is a 30-year veteran of the commercial/industrial real estate and construction industries. Well-respected by his industry peers and the general business community, he is recognized as one of the region’s leading industry executives with in-depth knowledge of all facets of building and development. That knowledge stems from a career in which he started as a laborer, and rose through the ranks, subsequently becoming a field supervisor, project coordinator, project manager, project estimator, and ultimately, a company executive.

Racanelli received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the Boston College. He is an alumnus of St. John the Baptist High School in West Islip. Additionally, he studied language and art at the Instituto di Michaelangelo in Florence, Italy.

Racanelli is the father of two sons, Martin Charles and Richard Martin II. He resides in Bay Shore.
