RAC NYSCAR holds 14th Annual 2014 President's Dinner and Awards Banquet at The Inn on Broadway

On November 20, the Rochester Area Chapter of the New York State Commercial Association of Realtors (RAC NYSCAR) held its 14th Annual 2014 President's Dinner and Awards Banquet at The Inn on Broadway. There was stellar turnout of 120 members and guests. The special guest speakers included Maggie Brooks, Monroe County executive, and Del Smith, commissioner of the Department of Neighborhood and Business Development for the City of Rochester. Robert Morgan, CEO of Morgan Management, LLC, was honored with the Allan D. Moore Lifetime Achievement Award for his exemplary achievements, personal commitment, dedication and performance in the commercial real estate industry in the Rochester community. Dara Rennert of Keller Williams Realty Greater Rochester was awarded the Deal of the Year - Sale. Paul Campbell of Moore Corporate Real Estate received the award for the Deal of the Year - Lease. Aldora Hines, Gerbracht, Hines & Associates, was awarded the Meritorious Service Award to the Organization as an Original Founding Board Member. Anita Bruckner, Rockbridge Realty Group, also was honored with the Meritorious Service Award for her Commitment to Quality Education. Patrick Wahl, CBRE Rochester, received the Best New Talent in Commercial Real Estate Award. RAC NYSCAR honored Victor Merkel and Laurence Glazer with a moment of silence. Both men have played an integral part in shaping the Rochester commercial real estate community. In memory of Larry Glazer, RAC NYSCAR unveiled the Annual Larry Glazer Scholarship, a $500 scholarship to be awarded for Continuing Education in the Commercial Real Estate Field. The 2015 officers and directors were sworn in by Joseph Rowley, Jr., of Buckingham Properties, LLC, a former RAC NYSCAR officer and director, and currently a member of the NYSCAR advisory board. RAC NYSCAR welcomed two new directors for 2015: Anthony Cashette of Leverage Properties, LLC, and Christopher Passero of Passero Realty Services, LLC.
