Queens Chamber of Commerce to host 2008 Business Person of the Year Awards

The Queens Chamber of Commerce, the leading business advocacy organization in the borough of Queens is pleased to announce the "2008 Business Person of the Year Awards." Members are selected for their inventive leadership abilities, outstanding contributions to Queen's business community and successful community outreach efforts in Queens. The luncheon will be held at Crowne Plaza La Guardia, East Elmhurst, on September 18, 2008, at noon. In addition to honoring individual members of the business community with the "Business Person of the Year" designation, the Queens Chamber also inducts businesses and individuals into its "Hall of Fame." The coveted "Business Person of the Year Awards" are presented in three categories: small, medium, and large organizations. After careful review and consideration by the Business Person Selection Committee, this year's winners are: Small Business Recipient Rao Sannidhi-Sunnyside Pharmacy Medium Business Recipient Mark Schienberg-Greater New York Automobile Dealers Association Large Business Recipient Peter Meyer-Commerce Bank Hall of Fame Bruce Bendell Major Automotive Group
