PWC salutes three women of achievement on September 28th

Battery Gardens, NY PWC saluted three women of achievement on Thursday, September 28th at Battery Gardens in Battery Park. The women were Patty Clark, senior aviation advisor, Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, Shari Hyman, COO, Battery Park City Authority and Marianne Kwok, director, KPF. 

The event started with a cocktail party, and then moved upstairs to dinner with a sunset in the background. The first part of the program was handing out scholarships to four women, two from Manhattan College and two from New York Institute of Technology. PWC has established two annual scholarships with these two colleges, and will continue to build relationships with the scholars to support them as they make their way into the industry. 

Following the scholarship presentation, a colleague of each honoree introduced the honoree, who then received a painting by artist, Holly Addi. Anne Fletcher, AIA, LEED AP,  principal, HOK, introduced Patty Clark, Andrea Shapiro Davis, associate vice chancellor, CUNY introduced Shari Hyman, and Jill Lerner, FAIA, principal, KPF introduced Marianne Kwok. 

The evening was a special one for the honorees and attendees alike, and PWC succeeded in promoting these women with outstanding careers in the industry. 

The gold sponsors for the event were HOK, PANYNJ, KPF, Silver sponsors were STV and Stantec, and Bronze sponsors were AECOM Tishman, Delta, Thornton Tomasetti, Jacobs, Yu & Associates, VHB, Duane Morris and DY Consultants.
