Project of the Month: Taylor breaks ground for Whitney Town Center and 151-unit Legends at Whitney senior apartment project

Fairport, NY Taylor, a leading regional commercial general contractor in the region, has been awarded the contract for construction of Whitney Town Center, and The Legends at Whitney Senior Apartment Community. Taylor is joining a partnership headed by Landers Management and Morgan Communities, both out of Rochester, for development of the 28,000 s/f of retail space and 151-unit senior apartment community located at 650 Whitney Rd. and 100 Clear Spring Trl., respectively. Construction work is currently underway, with completion of the entire development expected by mid-July, 2017.

“We are proud to partner with Peter Landers and Bob Morgan, some of the premier developers in Upstate New York, to bring this monumental mixed-use development to the town of Perinton,” said Taylor CEO, Jim Taylor. “This project not only addresses a community need for market-rate senior housing and convenient retail, but will greatly benefit the neighboring community by redefining and advancing the growth of the Whitney Rd. corridor.”
