What do you do now and what are you planning for the future? I'm currently the project officer responsible for the development of 7 Bryant Park, a speculative 30-story, 470,000 s/f signature office tower in Midtown. As that project reaches completion in the first quarter of 2015, I look forward to working with the Hines team to start working on another, equally successful project. Over the longer term, my goal is to help grow the Hines New York office platform by securing new projects and potentially expanding into new asset types such as multifamily.
How do you unwind from a busy day in real estate? Sharing a few laughs with my wife over a glass of wine and playing with our 2-year-old son.
Favorite book or author: Jonathan Franzen
Favorite movie: Last of the Mohicans
Last song you purchased/downloaded? "She's a Rainbow" by the Rolling Stones
One word to describe your work environment: Dynamic
Rules to live by in business: "In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity." - Albert Einstein
If you could invite one person to dinner (living or dead) who would it be and where would you go? Winston Churchill and we'd go to the Corner Bistro in the West Village for a burger.
What is your dream job? I feel like I am in it. Having the opportunity to work on the high-quality level of projects currently in Hines' portfolio and pipeline, and collaborating with top caliber architects is both exciting and demanding. It requires the very best thinking and execution by all members of our team on a daily basis.
