Port Authority of N.Y. and N.J. selects Yardi Voyager as its real estate lease administration and database system

According to Yardi, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey will adopt Yardi Voyager as its real estate lease administration and database system. Yardi Voyager will serve as the data source for all of the Port Authority's properties, leases and permits. The Port Authority will use Yardi Voyager for property management, lease administration, marketing, pricing strategy, workflows, report generation and document storage involved in acquisitions, dispositions and other property transactions. "Yardi is excited to work with an organization of the Port Authority's size and magnitude. We will bring our full real estate and asset management expertise to bear in helping the Port Authority serve the millions of people who rely on it for crucial services," said Terri Dowen, senior vice president of sales for Yardi. The Port Authority's real estate and development arm manages commercial space at JFK International Airport, LaGuardia Airport, Newark Liberty International Airport, five marine terminals, three bus terminals, the PATH rail transit system and the 16-acre World Trade Center site. Other port and transportation authorities across the U.S. that utilize Yardi software solutions to manage their real estate operations include the Metropolitan Transportation Authority of New York and the Port Authority of San Antonio.
