According to Pliskin Realty & Development, Inc., the firm has recently brokered five lease transactions for the following retail properties:
* Marvin Hartman, executive vice president at Pliskin, recently closed on a 20-year ground lease for a 14,500 s/f Walgreen's store. The property is located at 175th St. and Hillside Ave. in Jamaica, NY. It is owned by Valen Partners LLP. Walgreen's opened on the location in October of 2011.
* Pliskin president Jeffrey Pliskin recently closed on a 6,000 s/f lease for Vanity Fair Baths, a retailer of standard and custom-made bathroom vanities, custom shower enclosures, wall units, fireplaces, tub surrounds, decorative media units, as well as decorative plumbing fixtures for bathrooms and kitchens. The space is located at 215 Voice Rd. in Carle Place, NY. Vanity Fair Baths relocated from 375 W. Sunrise Hwy. in Freeport, N.Y.
* A lease extension of a 1,250 s/f space owned by Whitman Plaza Associates, LLC, located at 2130 Ralph Ave., for Liberty Travel, a travel agency;
* A lease extension of 1,600 s/f space owned by Plaza 700 Associates, LLC located at 690 Utica Ave. for Hong Kong Pavilion, a Chinese restaurant;
* A new lease for 6,000 s/f space in the Plaza 200 Shopping Center owned by Plaza 200 Associates LLC, and located at 239 Voice Rd., Carle Place, NY for Marty's Shoes.
