Pinsky of RXR Realty named real estate person of the year by Greater NY IREM

New York, NY The Greater New York Chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management has named those to be honored at their annual dinner and awards on January 23rd, 2020 at 230 FIFTH.

RXR Realty

The top award goes to Seth Pinsky, an executive vice president at RXR Realty. Pinsky leads RXR’s investment efforts in “emerging opportunities” in the New York region. Previously, Pinsky directed mayor Bloomberg’s Special Initiative for Rebuilding and Resiliency, which developed a $20 billion climate change plan for the city. Pinsky also served as New York City Economic Development Corp. (NYCEDC) president from 2008 to 2013. Prior to NYCEDC, Pinsky was an associate at Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton and an analyst at James Wolfensohn Inc. He graduated from Columbia College and Harvard Law.

Certified Property Manager of the Year goes to Randall Powell, CPM. Randall is co-founder and CEO of Infinite Horizons, a company whose goal is to develop properties owned by banks, faith based organizations, nonprofits or the city into affordable housing that will provide safe and decent housing for the community.

RY Management Co., LLC is the Accredited Management Organization of the Year. RY Management is one of the premier property management companies in the New York metropolitan region with a record of providing professional, innovative and cost-effective services to clients.

Dynamic Construction Services rounds out the award recipients as Industry Partner of the Year.

IREM NYC Chapter president Sharon Hart Fanelli said, “We’re proud to honor those who truly stand out as pillars of the real estate community.”
