Perna and Gazzola of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank negotiate $13 million sale and 48,000 s/f lease

Ralph Perna, executive managing director, and Dan Gazzola, managing director, of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank brokered a $13 million sale and a 48,000 s/f lease. Sun Cap Properties from Charlotte, N.C. purchased 100 Orville Dr., a 250,000 s/f building, with a leaseback to Federal Express for $13 million. The building will undergo a renovation, including reducing the size of the building to to 140,000 s/f. Perfume Center of America leased 48,000 s/f at 99 Lafayette Ave. in Syosset. This will be interim space for the company while they are planning to building 150,000 s/f on 11 acres.
