Hunt of Hunt Corp. reps seller in $3.443 million sale of 33,530 s/f building; Garden of LMG Realty reps buyer, Mobile Fleet; sold by Quantum Instruments

According to Hunt Corporate Services, Inc. (www.huntcorp.com), Mobile Fleet has purchased the industrial building located at 10 Commerce Dr. David Hunt, president of Hunt, represented Quantum Instruments, the seller. Len Garden of LMG Realty Associates, Inc. represented the buyer. Mobile Fleet will use the 33,540 s/f industrial building for their corporate headquarters. The sale price was $3.443 million. "The sale of this building is indicative of a market that is really gaining momentum," said Hunt. "We had brisk showings of the property by the commercial brokerage community, and the building was in contract within three months of being placed on the market. The sale price was $107 a s/f, a definite uptick for Hauppauge." The building is located at the entrance to the Hauppauge Industrial Park and is situated on a 2.48-acre plot. Built in the early 1980s, the building was renovated in 2004, and occupied by Quantum for the last 10 years. Quantum has already relocated their operations to Chicago. Mobile Fleet specializes in municipal, utility, and work vehicle outfitting and integration. Mobile Fleet's divisions include sales, service, technical support, specification assistance, warehousing and distribution, marketing, device and software integration, manufacturing, and vehicle outfitting and installations. Hunt Corporate Services, Inc. specializes in exclusively representing clients for the acquisition or disposition of commercial real estate. Hunt Construction Services, Inc. provides general contracting, construction management and maintenance services for Long Island companies.
