Perkins Eastman celebrates completion of 22,000 s/f facility
The New York office of architecture and interior design firm Perkins Eastman joined the medical staff and leadership of NYU Langone Medical Center in recognizing the completion of a new 22,000 s/f outpatient surgery facility at 333 E. 38th St., dedicated solely to the needs of patients undergoing specialized orthopedic surgical procedures that do not require an overnight hospital stay.
Designed by Perkins Eastman, the interior reflects the latest thinking in surgical technology and efficient, patient-friendly architectural design.
"This project represents the future of world-class surgical environments and matches the high standards and quality of care that NYU Langone's orthopedic surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and support staff provide to their patients every day," said Mary-Jean Eastman FAIA.
