Oyolokor promoted to sr. vice president of FirstService’s multifamily rental division

New York, NY FirstService Residential, New York’s leading residential property management company, has promoted Calynne Oyolokor to senior vice president of its Multifamily Rental Division. Oyolokor will be responsible for the continued growth of the division and apply her extensive operations, process improvement, financial, and people management experience to lead the division’s management and advisory teams.

Oyolokor has more than 15 years of expertise managing luxury residential properties, mixed-use developments, assets with affordable housing and income restricted components, and REITs in both asset management and property management. She has also led operational teams for new acquisitions working with both public and private investors in the U.S. and Europe for individual owners and third-party investment managers.

Oyolokor has worked with her team of property managers and the company’s heart of the house departments to streamline and improve internal processes and client services. She also oversees the lease administration and onsite leasing/operations departments which service more than 12,000 rental units in the NYC region.

“It’s been exciting and rewarding to apply my knowledge of the multifamily sector and asset management in a way that directly impacts a large population of New Yorkers,” said Oyolokor. “As the division and the company continue to expand, I look forward to the many new clients, challenges, and successes ahead.”

FirstService Residential has provided management services to institutional developers and family-owned portfolios that increase revenue, maximize occupancy, and streamline operations. The company manages more than 140 multifamily rental buildings comprising around 12,000 apartments and 30,000 tenants. This is in addition to a management portfolio of more than 500 condominium and cooperative properties.

The company’s management portfolio includes multifamily rental properties such as American Copper Buildings, an award-winning, dual-tower rental property in Murray Hill; One Boerum Place, home of the most expensive rental apartment in Brooklyn history; 420 Kent Avenue on the Williamsburg waterfront; and 685 First Avenue, an ultra-luxury residential tower that comprises a mix of 148 jewel box condominiums, 408 rental units, more than 15,000 s/f of amenities, and a ground floor retail component.
