Over 200 attend 50th anniversary party held by OLA Consulting Engineers

Manhattan, NY More than 200 professionals from the engineering, architecture, and construction industries gathered in Manhattan to celebrate OLA Consulting Engineers LLC’s 50th anniversary. Held at Jay Suites on West 38th Street, the event celebrated OLA’s longstanding presence and influence in the industry.

Attendees included clients and representatives from different phases of OLA’s five-decade journey. Among the distinguished guests was John Evers, president & CEO of the American Council of Engineering Companies of New York (ACEC); Jesse Lazar, executive director of AIA New York and the Center for Architecture; and Gina Rivera, executive director of Professional Women in Construction New York who joined in honoring this milestone.

“We were honored to celebrate with so many valued clients and partners, reflecting the strong relationships we've built in and around New York City. This milestone highlights our commitment to these connections and our mission to engineer better environments. We are grateful for five decades of support,” said Patrick Lynch, PE, president of OLA Consulting Engineers. 

Since 1974, OLA Consulting Engineers has grown from a regional firm to a widely respected leader in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering, as well as energy engineering and commissioning services with a strong focus on sustainability. 

With headquarters in Westchester County and an expanded Manhattan office, OLA’s team of over 65 professionals serves a diverse range of commercial, industrial, and institutional clients. The firm’s projects, which include new construction, retrofits, and renovations, reflect its five-decade commitment to engineering excellence and lasting environmental impact.

In New York City, the OLA team has contributed to projects for institutions and organizations including the Archdiocese of NY, Archcare, New York-Presbyterian Hospital, the New York City School Construction Authority, Ralph Lauren, Rudin Management, United Nations International School, among others.
