Outsource Consultants becomes SCA certified MBE

Manhattan, NY Outsource Consultants, Inc., expediting, building code, and zoning experts in New York City for 30 years, has a new MBE certification from the New York City School Construction Authority (NYC SCA). The certification will be the fourth addition to Outsource’s current collection of MBEs from accredited institutions, including NYC Small Business Services (SBE), New York State (NYS), and New York & New Jersey Minority Supplier Development Council (NYNJMSDC).

Thanks to their ongoing dedication to uplifting minority-owned, woman-owned and locally based enterprises, the NYC SCA has a MWBLE Utilization goal of 30% for all bidders. Now, Outsource is proudly guaranteed to help fulfill that goal — and this assurance is just the first of many reasons to include the expediting firm in your next SCA project bid.

Outsource’s dedication to keeping community spaces accessible extends to more than just schools — after experiences with libraries, cafeterias, labs, recreation centers, and outdoor spaces, Outsource is the perfect fit for any type of SCA project. The recent expansion of P.S. 144 provides another example of Outsource’s top-graded expertise. In addition to fully accessible facilities, the renovation and expansion project also added 26 classrooms, a playground, a cafeteria and dining room, and new offices.

Outsource’s portfolio is as diverse as it is extensive, including vital experience with specialized schools; Lavelle School for the Blind, Green Ivy, Islamic Cultural Center School, Brooklyn Prospect Charter School, The Young Women’s Leadership School of Astoria, and many more. This background has fostered a deep understanding of accessibility regulations and compliance. One of Outsource’s most recent projects with the SCA involved the application of DOT permits for P.S. 209, a Bronx school with full accessibility. Whether the project requires extensive paths of egress travel or fire safety regulations, Outsource is prepared for any obstacle.
