Innovation Highlight

I’m proudest of building a sharper, faster underwriting process. I vet each deal the way a lender will, so we flag issues early and match every borrower with the right capital source. It shortens timelines, avoids surprises at term sheet and has helped us close over $3 billion in financings.

Industry Outlook

The biggest opportunity is using data and automation to cut the manual work in underwriting and lender matching. Pulling rent rolls and operating statements into clean models faster, and tracking lender appetite in real time, gives brokers more time to advise clients and negotiate better terms. AI also lets us look at the same data from new angles, and that’s where the advantage is. We see things earlier, structure smarter and get ahead of problems before a lender does.

Innovation in Action

Technology lets me turn around underwriting and lender outreach in a fraction of the time. Standardized models, shared lender data and better internal collaboration mean clients get clearer, faster answers, and I spend more time on strategy and relationships than on data entry.

Looking Ahead

I’m most excited about how much more transparent and efficient capital markets are becoming. The recent market fluctuation did a good job of filtering out the weaker assets, so the deals still standing have real fundamentals behind them. Better data and tools make it easier to match the right capital to each of those properties, including smaller and mid-sized multifamily and mixed-use assets, so great deals get financed faster.
